No Ordinary Family is a sci-fi series that is produced by ABC Studios. The story revolves around the extraordinary life of the Powells.
The show stars Michael Chiklis as Jim Powell, the head of the family. Alongside Michael is actress Julie Benz who plays as Stephanie Powell, the wife of Jim. They have three children namely Daphne, played by Kay Panabaker, JJ, played by Jimmy Bennett and Katie, played by actress Autumn Reeser.

The family were in a plane when it mysteriously crashed somewhere in the Amazon River. Luckily, the family survived the crash. However, their life was never the same after the mysterious plane crash.

Jimmy Bennett is to play a guest role in two episodes of the recent TNT drama Perception. Bennett portrayed J.J. in the ABC serial No Ordinary Family which was short lived.
Reports have it that the actor will play the part of Alex Willingham, a teen who is lonely and unhappy, and his dad had apparently taken his own life. Soon Alex gets into trouble while trying to conceal the killing of a United States Senator.
The show will also feature Eric McCormack (Will and Grace fame) to play the part of Daniel Pierce, a university teacher and an odd neuroscientist who sees the world in a very unique manner. Also Rachael Leigh Cook (of She is All That) will play the part of an FBI operative – as well as Pierce’s ex student – who asks him to assist the feds resolve criminal cases.
Apart from featuring in Star Trek movie remake where he played a youthful James T Kirk, Bennett also featured in Anchorman: Legends of Ron Burgundy as well as Evan Almighty.
Perception is scheduled to premiere on TNT sometime in 2012.
